ONE CHURCH CHANGING LIVES

Waynesfield UMC - Ohio
"The attached photo was taken this morning at the dedication of our new LED sign purchased with an IM Matching Funds Grant."

They continue ... "This week was the first that the sign was running with Worship Service times. We had one guest at the 10:30 service who came BECAUSE he saw the sign and found out the time of the service. I was passing out bulletins this morning when the visitor came in, I started a conversation with him and found out his name and where he lives. After he was seated I passed the information on to Steve, my husband, and another member and they made a point of talking to him during the meet and greet time. After the service everyone was asked to assemble outside for the dedication of the new sign, Steve invited the visitor to stay for the dedication and HE DID praise God for his blessings and IM for believing in our congregation!!!!

I know we have a long way to go and I know there will be some opposition to the changes we need to make, but I am determined and I feel that with the support of prayer and the welcoming spirit of Jesus we will be able to increase our presence and mission in this community."
